I might sound like a Pessimist but face the fact

Did you become much wiser from 2010 31st December 11.59.59pm to 2011 1st January 12.00.00am?

Did you gain 1,000,000,000 in your bank account?

Did you gain anything in any form?

I didnt felt richer, smarter, thiner, fatter, faster, slower, shorter nor taller.

You might say i spent time with my friends or family..

i am too. but is New Years Day just another day in so many days in our life.

Lets say we have 75 years to live means you have 27375 day and you will have 75 new years. Why should these 75 days mean more than any other days you live? Just like valentines day.

Its a day where a guy named valentine died. what makes it so romantic? if you love a girl, shouldn't everyday you spend with your girl suppose to be valentines day? just like new years day. isnt everyday suppose to be celebration?

New Years Day is just another in my life.

Nothing really much. You might think I did not have a very meaningful New Years Eve.

I can say you're wrong. I was spending my new years eve in Taiwan.

Celebrating 100 years of the Formation of R.O.C Taiwan.

Eating a Spanish dinner with new friends and also my lovely sister Nancy in Taipei.

but its just a day. another day in my life.

:) i'm not a Pessimist. but just a logical thinker. correct me if i'm wrong.
